I went to this growing up and it’s so great being able to be a part of it, I get to see old friends and work on something we all believe in. I can’t wait to be able to do it again this year. The team won’t be the same, as with all things - things change, but it’ll definitely be great to work on the creative side of the convention for the 3rd year in a row.

After several test shoots, I came to realize that I could be doing more to get the shots I wanted - a big thing I was missing was a stylist. So I went out, bought some clothes, and styled my shoots myself and Lauren absolutely killed it.
Case Study - Hidden Symbols in Letters
“Red Hat” plays upon the shapes inside the letters enabling the design to show, rather than solely spell out the brand. And the red hat, for me, was deeply personal.

Okay. Story time:
My first real job (as in lasting more than 3 hours of training) was at an ice cream shop. It taught me a lot: how to talk to random people, communicate well, provide good service. All in all that summer and winter of 2015 was one of learning and growth. I got my first paycheck and went on my first independently funded vacation without my family. All this to say, I did this wearing a red hat. It was part of our uniform at the ice cream shop and I wore it a lot because of that and the sentiment that without that job I wouldn’t have grown the way I had.
That’s one reason for the red hat, but the bigger reason was that I used it as a coping mechanism for a traumatic experience we all go through: growing up. I don’t think many people when looking back at their lives wish they had grown up, and I for one distinctly remember in my middle, high school, and collegiate years that growing up is something I never want to do. I would wear this red hat for the next 3-4 years to hold on to my childhood. I would carry around a tennis ball and throw it around, wear the same sweater on Tuesdays, and pretend to be an airplane when I felt like it, all this in an attempt to feel like a child.
With songs like “Devil’s in the Backseat” and “ The Lost Boy (Feat. Skizzy Mars)” lostboycrow had a phenomenal set opening for flor at Webster Hall.
Playing songs from his most recent ep, Santa Fe, audiences got to hear some great sounds with an airy pop vibe and stellar stage presence .
Yves (@slim_deal) and Fabian (@fabiangrayy) absolutely crushed this set. I always love working with more than one person, there’s something great about collaborating with a team - even if I’m the only one behind the camera. At Washington Square Park and right outside a basketball court we were able to get some great work done.
Case Study - Lettering
"Ink" uses the design to emote the same atmosphere as its literal word. The design gives a sense of wet ink that gives the design more to communicate asides from just the word itself.
Stevie (@steviesol) was awesome to work with and I’m so proud of our shoot. There were so many great shots that I had to split it up. Here’s some work styled me, and I’m so happy I got into a little styling - it’s helped all of my shoots go much smoother and more inline with what I was going for.
Justice (@justiceconquers) had a confidence that radiated into each picture. Our shoot at the New York Public Library in Midtown Manhattan was rainy and grey, but despite that the shots came out just the way I wanted. Editorial and campaign vibes were just what I was going for, and Justice definitely delivered the best attitude and poses throughout our shoot.

That’s what ski instructing is (especially when you’re teaching 3-5 year olds).
Here are some photos from a project I did with their Copper Mountain’s Ski and Ride School. I would’ve loved to be instructing but being able to capture some special moments was amazing too.
From a bar show in Philly to selling out Webster Hall in Manhattan, The Band Camino has been the soundtrack to my emerging young adulthood. I honestly forgot how much I listened to them until I was reciting every lyric perfectly and humming every riff months after I had heard them.
They blew me away, the guitar lines, catchy drum beat, epic lights, stage presence, and heartfelt banter is why I go to concerts.
Wow. 10/10, Must see.
The guys need a headline tour asap.
Opening for amazing acts like Jeremy Zucker, The Aces, and most recently flor this indie pop duo has everything but a headlining tour.
Songs like “one more touch” and “i loved you first” hit hard live, and new singles like “ease your mind” show that they’re definitely not done yet, and hopefully far from it.
The duo, Alan Thomas and Steven Rutherford, are the only two on stage but put on such a great show. A mix of their on-stage energy and groovy hits and catchy melodies in their music will have you falling in love.
They absolutely crushed it opening this past week at Webster Hall for flor. Amazing night and definitely looking forward to any and every tour they have coming in their future.
